CannaCon Cannabis Conference Goes Virtual
CannaCon is kicking off its first-ever virtual cannabis conference on Tuesday July 28th until Thursday July 30th. Cannacon is typically held in-person at various locations throughout the USA, but it will be a virtual conference in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To register for the virtual event, please visit Cannacon’s registration page here.
Along with virtual vendor tables, the virtual conference will also feature keynote speakers. While the setup of this conference is different than the in-person trade shows the cannabis industry is accustomed to, attendees will be able to attend the conference from the comfort of their own homes and offices. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions at vendors’ virtual tables.
Keynote speakers will cover a broad range of topics within the cannabis industry– every topic from cannabis law to cannabis regulations to cultivation and dispensary operations. As a featured sponsor of the event, IndicaOnline will be giving away one free month of service to a lucky attendee.
COVID-19 and Cannabis Conferences
Cannabis has played quite a significant role during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most state governments declared cannabis essential business at the onset of the pandemic. Most states saw sales skyrocket as customers clamored for safer access and purchasing. Curbside pickup, online ordering, and delivery regulations were either pushed through or relaxed in the majority of legal states to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
The pandemic also affected cannabis trade shows and conferences. Most of the industry trade shows, conventions, and conferences were cancelled, while some were postponed to a later date. CannaCon South, which takes place in Oklahoma City, was postponed until September 28th-29th. As long as that date holds, IndicaOnline will be attending that conference in person.
Stay tuned for more announcements regarding cannabis trade shows, and we will see you at CannaCon Virtual Conference!
