California Cannabis Dispensary Metrc Setup Guide for IndicaOnline POS System
Once California cannabis retailers obtain their annual license or provisional, they have 30 days to begin compliance reporting using the Metrc track-and-trace system. The California cannabis track-and-trace system was implemented to record the inventory and movement of marijuana and marijuana products as they make their way through the supply chain. Metrc is just the software contracted by the state to manage reporting.
It’s imperative for dispensaries to designate someone as the compliance manager so they can take the required CCTT–METRC account manager system training. This must be completed before integrating your POS system with the state reporting software.
