California Cannabis Dispensary Metrc Setup Guide for IndicaOnline POS System
Once California cannabis retailers obtain their annual license or provisional, they have 30 days to begin compliance reporting using the Metrc track-and-trace system. IndicaOnline POS system is a validated integrator with Metrc, so dispensaries can set up automated reports to send transaction information in real-time.
Connecting our POS software with Metrc can be somewhat confusing for dispensary staff who are starting state reporting for the very first time. In an effort to simplify this process, we’ve created a setup guide that walks users through every step of the integration.
California Cannabis Track-and-Trace System
The California cannabis track-and-trace system was implemented to record the inventory and movement of marijuana and marijuana products as they make their way through the supply chain. Metrc is just the software contracted by the state to manage reporting.
It’s imperative for dispensaries to designate someone as the compliance manager so they can take the required CCTT–METRC account manager system training. This must be completed before integrating your POS system with the state reporting software.
Compliance Support Team
In addition to our setup guide, we’ve assembled a compliance support team who can answer all of your integration questions and assist in completing the integration. We understand that every cannabis retailer operates with their own internal protocols and procedures so we want to make the transition into compliance reporting as seamless as possible.
Cannabis dispensaries interested in learning more about IndicaOnline’s integration with the Metrc track-and-trace system can schedule a demo with our training specialists. Marijuana retailers who are already using IndicaOnline’s POS software can download the Setup Guide below.
